Quick take

You have a view, say BTC rises this week, and want it held properly. Set the side to long, the size to half the budget and the leverage to 3x. Leverage Scalper opens that long on BTCUSDT and keeps it at the target every round. Change your mind and pick short, or pick flat and the next round closes the position in one step.

What it costs

This strategy is open on every plan. What it trades is fixed by its design, so every plan runs the same scope; Standard is free.

How it works

Every round the strategy compares the position on the contract with your target: its side, its size as a share of the strategy's budget, and its leverage. If they differ, it trades the difference. Flat closes the position in one step on the next round, as long as the safety checks pass. While a position is open, it stops changing it when the leverage reads above your setting or the price comes closer to liquidation than your distance, and then leaves the position as it is, without adding to it or closing it.

Real talk

This strategy does not pick the direction - you do. It holds your view at your leverage, and when the view is wrong, leverage makes the loss larger. When it stands down near liquidation it does not close the position; you close it on the exchange. Funding is paid or received every interval while the position is open. Lowering the leverage while a position is open makes it stand down, because the open position still reads the old leverage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick glossary

Definitions for the trading terms used on this page.

Backtest
A simulation of how a strategy would have performed on historical price data. Past results never guarantee future returns - markets change.
Slippage
The difference between the price you expect and the price you actually get when an order fills. Worse on illiquid pairs and during fast markets.
Spread
The gap between the best buy price (bid) and the best sell price (ask). Tight spreads = liquid market, wider spreads = more cost per round trip.
Stop-loss
An automatic exit order that closes a losing position when price hits a chosen threshold. Caps how much one bad trade can hurt you.
Take-profit
An automatic exit order that closes a winning position once price reaches a chosen target. Locks in gains without relying on you to watch the chart.
Volatility
How sharply price moves. High volatility = bigger swings in both directions, which means more opportunity but also more drawdown risk.
